With his Tisha B'Av syndrome statement, Isaac Herzog defined the word opportunist

Opposition leader Isaac Herzog believes that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "is using the Tisha B'Av syndrome" to scare the people of Israel, the Zionist Union wrote on his Facebook on Saturday.

"Netanyahu is slowly sowing deep anxieties into the hearts of the nation, and has an unbalanced effect on our national emotions. It must stop," Herzog wrote.

Tisha B'Av, an annual fast day which commemorates the destruction of both the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem, will be marked on Sunday

In the Jerusalem Post article “The Gospel according to Lapid”, Sarah Honig wrote:

“Opportunism according to the dictionary definition is “the conscious policy and practice of taking selfish advantage of circumstances – with little regard for principles or consequences. Opportunist actions are expedient actions guided primarily by self-interested motives.”

Apparently, Herzog is no better than Lapid. Either Herzog understands the threat coming from Iran, and that therefore Netanyahu is telling the truth  ( see below the list of threats ), or he does not. If he does, he is an opportunist. If he does not, what is he doing as the leader of the opposition?
